A wrist ultrasound mainly visualizes the flexor tendons (FDP and FDS), pronator quadratus (PQ) muscle, and radius bone, which are key anatomical structures in the forearm's volar (palm) side. The FDP and FDS are the deep and superficial flexor tendons, respectively; the PQ is a deep muscle that lies over the radius and ulna; and the radius is the larger of the two forearm bones on the thumb side.
